The story
What happens inside
At the North Pole the elves wheel in the Big Book — the one with every child in it — and Santa turns the pages until he finds your child’s. Then, alone at a candlelit desk, he takes up his quill and writes them a letter: not about presents, but about how he has watched them grow. It travels under the ribbon of a midnight-blue parcel, over the rooftops, into a quiet house where one child is asleep and dreaming. On Christmas morning there it is — their name, in Santa’s own hand. A keepsake to be kept in a drawer and found again years later. Order early — Christmas editions are painted in strict order.

The Little Tailor Promise
You see your child painted into the story before you pay anything. If the preview doesn’t make you smile, you owe us nothing and your photo is deleted. And if you love it but something isn’t quite as you expected, tell us what’s off — we’ll put it right, free of charge. A real person checks every page before it reaches you.
Questions parents ask
Before you ask…
Will it actually look like my child?
That’s exactly why the preview is free. Your child is painted from your photo: face, hair, skin tone, even the clothes they really wear. You judge the likeness with your own eyes before paying anything. If something isn’t right, like the hair, the eyes or the glasses, tell us and we’ll put it right, free of charge.
Who paints the pictures?
An AI image model paints every page from your photo, in our watercolour style. A real person then checks every face, anything that is not right is repainted, and you see sample pages free before you pay a penny.
What photo works best?
One clear, front-facing photo with their face easy to see — close up, in good daylight, looking at the camera, nothing in front of the face. The closer and clearer the face, the better the likeness on every page. You can change it later if the preview isn’t right.
What happens to the photo?
It’s used only to paint your book, then deleted within 30 days of your book being finished — and within 90 days if you never go ahead. It is never used to train an AI model and never shared. No account is created. Our photo promise →
Do I need to do anything technical?
No. Pick a book, add one photo and type their name — about a minute. Every page is painted, a real person checks every face, and we print and post the book. No apps, no account, nothing to edit.
Can I add Mum, Dad or Grandma?
Yes, on the books with a family photo box: the Pocketful of Brave (starting school), the Big Kid Promotion (big sister or big brother) and Your Child’s First Christmas. Add a clear photo of each person and they are painted in too. More books are coming.
Is this a good Christmas present for a 4, 5, 6 or 7 year old?
Yes. It is written for ages 4 to 7, the years a child still believes and is just starting to read some of the words themselves. Santa finds their page in the Big Book and writes to them by name, and they are painted into every page from one photo. The hardcover is £39.99 delivered; order by Monday 14 December and it should arrive before Christmas (delivery dates are estimates, not a guarantee).
What does it cost?
£39.99 for the printed hardcover, delivered free in the UK — and you see your child painted in first, so you pay only if you love it. A second copy of the same book is £24.99. All prices →
How fast is delivery?
The free preview usually lands within the hour — a real person checks every page before we send it, so if you order late at night it will be waiting for you in the morning. Say yes and the whole book is painted and checked within 24 hours, with the ebook copy free the moment you approve it. The hardcover is printed in Britain and posted with tracking: up to 6 working days to print and 1 to 4 for the courier, so 7 to 11 working days after you approve (about two weeks). These are the printer’s and courier’s estimates, not a guarantee — busy times, like the weeks before Christmas, can be slower.
